For nearly 25 years, John H. Pavloff, Esquire served as Assistant District Attorney with the Office of the District Attorney of Chester County, Pennsylvania. In March 2012, John left the District Attorney’s office to dedicate his considerable trial skills to the plight of the criminal defendant. At the same time, John was appointed by the Chester County Court of Common Pleas to represent indigent defendants as “conflict counsel” in criminal cases. In May 2013, John joined the Schindler Law Group to continue his advocacy on behalf of criminal defendants.
John graduated from Great Valley Senior High School, in Malvern, in 1973. In 1977, he graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in combined literature (Latin and French). John then attended Duke University School of Law, from which he received a Juris Doctorate degree in law in 1980. From 1980 to 1988, John worked as a corporate and commercial lawyer for Duane, Morris & Heckscher, in Philadelphia, and Stevens & Lee, P.C., in Reading and Wayne. He also worked closely with the legal departments of the multi-million dollar corporations, Shared Medical Systems Corporation, in Malvern, and ARA Services, Inc., in Philadelphia.
John is a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Chester County Bar Association.
